Radon and Radiation Project

New Living Health (when it was known as BuildClean) worked extensively to inform consumers, industry,, and government about the levels of radon being emitted in countertops. Originally borne out of concern that several studies raised about the effects in indoor environments at levels lower than those considered “safe” by the federal government, the organization created numerous resources to keep consumers informed and up to date on information about radon in their countertops. We also funded further research by third parties about radon emissions in the home. This was all done to ensure that building products were both safe and healthy.
